A leading hotel in the north of Malta is looking to recruit:
A Senior Account’s Executive
With the experience to manage and lead the whole team in the accounts department
The selected candidate will report directly to the General Manager and should have outstanding communication skills.
The role:
Will involve handling the day operations
Handling Vat issues including assisting in compiling the Vat returns.
To compile the management accounts and other regular reports in a timely manner.
Liaising with other heads of departments and liaising also with Hotel auditors.
Delegating the team with all the tasks necessary to have all the accounts in order.
The ideal candidate:
Should be able to work in a team, be a leader, and works in tight time frames.
Qualified in accounts or is in the process of gaining the ACCA or similar qualifications.
Has at least two years’ experience in a busy environment in a senior accounts post.
Fluent in Maltese and English.
Good Knowledge of MS Excel.
Previous experience in Sage accounting and room master will be considered an asset.
